Alcovy River Farms was the vision of Kent Miller, a longtime Metro Atlanta resident and successful real estate broker whose lifelong passion has always extended far beyond the closing table. While building a distinguished career in real estate, Kent never lost his deep love for animals, open land, and the timeless rhythm of farm life. What began as a personal passion has grown into a working farm rooted in stewardship, quality breeding, and a genuine respect for the land.
Located in Covington, Georgia… just 40 minutes from Downtown Atlanta. Alcovy River Farms spans more than 130 rolling acres along the scenic Alcovy River. The property’s gently sloping hills, lush pastures, and river frontage create an ideal environment for raising exceptional livestock. Today, Kent focuses on breeding champion Dorpers, Aberdeen Angus cattle, and Quarter Horses, continuing a legacy that began years ago with his dedication to breeding quality horses. And for a touch of charm, a few miniature donkeys call the farm home as well.
